I'm Julian, a travel writer born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya. I began traveling at a very young age and have never looked back. I have always harbored a great fascination for discovery, and it was while working in the Middle East in the meetings and events industry in the early years of my career that I discovered my true passion—adventure travel. This led me to co-found my own adventure travel company, Large Minority, in 2009, which I have been running ever since.

I am also extremely passionate about making a positive difference within the travel industry, and giving back has always been a very big part of everything I do. In my spare time, I love climbing the odd mountain, riding motorbikes, and, when possible, simply heading out into the bush.
